Too Glam to Give A Damn

This post goes out to all you cynics and haters out there. Thank you for doubting us, for telling us that we'll never be good enough, for making us feel inadequate and most importantly, for giving us the much needed shove right in our backs, violently pushing us off the (metaphorical) cliff. We took a fall, a bad dive. We're shattered beyond recognition. Yet, it's a brand new chance to reinvent ourselves, to re-evaluate and re-position our grounds. Thank you for kicking us off that wretched path we weren't supposed to be on. It's a long way down but now that we're here floating in the waters, trekking through the jungles and carving through the rocks, we see the world so much clearer. We're starting to recognise our true selves, our needs and our wants. Thank you for giving up on us, for turning your back on us when we needed you the most and for making fun of our goals and dreams. Darling, watch us burst forth into the light and own our glow. By then, we'll be too glam to give a damn.
