This post goes out to all you broken, fragile souls out there. You feel down, bitter, angry, disappointed and negative by the outcome of the things that matter to you - Be it a bruised friendship, un-mendable relationship, failed attempt at getting that dream job or just feeling like your life is headed towards nowhere. I'm not saying that it'll be easy to jump out of despair. But I assure you, it will get easier. Seeing that we're all stuck at the bottom of this endless dark pit together, the only way out is to climb our way back up. Afterall, things can't get worse than this. You can either continue feeling sorry for yourself and pout in this pit alone, or we can motivate each other and start helping us all out. What have you got to lose anyway?

It's never easy being told right to your face that you're inadequate, that you're not "the one we're/I'm looking for". It stings but you've survived 'em all. One day you're going to find a place you belong. You'll slip right in like that piece of missing puzzle piece they've been looking for. Move on. Don't get hurt trying to mold yourself into something you're not. See rejections as mana potions - store 'em up, save 'em up, use 'em to your advantage when you finally unleash your magical capabilities. What have you got to lose anyway?

Now, stop thinking about the past. It happened. It's over. Look at the present. Take a moment and breathe deep into the future and focus on your goals - Who do you want to be? / What do you want to achieve? Take positive steps and actions toward your goal. If it ain't working, try other methods or seek advise from your closest friends. If it still ain't working, take baby steps and aim for a smaller goal first. Don't ever let self-doubts and worthless opinions get to you. You can do it. We can both do it. I know it's easier said than done. But it'll only get better through the action of doing. If you don't swim, you'll drown. Start pedaling. What have you go to lose anyway?

xoxo,

Wendy
